Role Purpose:<\/h3>\n
To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of Luman\u2019s three Pantnagar plants, ensuring excellence in Production, PPC, Purchase, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Cost and People Management, while improving profitability, productivity, quality and customer delivery.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n
\n
Overall responsibility for three manufacturing plants and achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity targets.<\/li>\n
Lead Production, PPC, Purchase\/Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Supply Chain and Dispatch through respective HODs.<\/li>\n
Ensure customer schedules through effective capacity planning, material planning, production planning and OTIF delivery.<\/li>\n
Drive OEE, productivity, manpower efficiency, rejection\/scrap reduction, cycletime improvement and capacity utilization.<\/li>\n
Lead Purchase cost reduction, supplier development, localization, alternate sourcing and commercial negotiations.<\/li>\n
Strengthen TPM, preventive\/predictive maintenance, machine reliability and reduction in breakdowns.<\/li>\n
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA and customer-specific requirements.<\/li>\n
Own operating budgets and drive improvement in material cost, conversion cost, inventory, working capital and EBITDA.<\/li>\n
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, automation, Capex and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n
Build a strong performance culture and develop the leadership team across approximately 300 employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Candidate Profile:<\/h3>\n
\n
BE\/B.Tech in Mechanical\/Production\/Automobile\/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n
MBA\/PGDM preferred.<\/li>\n
18\u201325+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive components.<\/li>\n
Minimum 5 years in Plant Head \/ GM Operations \/ VP Operations \/ COO-level responsibility.<\/li>\n
Proven experience handling multiple plants or a large complex manufacturing operation.<\/li>\n
Strong hands-on exposure to Production, PPC, Purchase, Maintenance and P&L is essential.<\/li>\n
Strong practical knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.<\/li>\n
Experience managing 300+ employees and multiple functional HODs.<\/li>\n
Experience in automotive filters and\/or brake pads, brake linings or friction materials will be a significant advantage.<\/li>\n
Strong leadership, analytical, commercial, customer-management and problemsolving capability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
