Role Objective:<\/h3>\n
The Assistant Manager \u2013 Fleet Business will develop direct business with large fleet operators, major transport companies, road-construction contractors and infrastructure-development companies. The role will promote and sell Luman products directly to fleet customers while building enduring commercial relationships and delivering profitable growth.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n
\n
Identify and develop business opportunities with large fleet owners, transportation houses, logistics companies, road-construction contractors and infrastructure companies.<\/li>\n
Establish direct connections between Luman and key fleet customers in the assigned market.<\/li>\n
Promote Luman\u2019s automotive filtration and related products to commercial-vehicle fleet operators.<\/li>\n
Generate qualified leads, conduct customer meetings and convert opportunities into sustainable business.<\/li>\n
Build relationships with fleet owners, purchase teams, workshop managers, maintenance heads and other decision-makers.<\/li>\n
Understand each customer\u2019s fleet composition, product consumption, maintenance cycles and purchasing requirements.<\/li>\n
Conduct product presentations, commercial negotiations, field trials and disciplined follow-ups.<\/li>\n
Coordinate with technical, supply-chain, commercial and customer-service teams for timely fulfilment.<\/li>\n
Track competitor products, pricing and market activity, and submit useful market intelligence.<\/li>\n
Prepare sales forecasts, customer-wise business plans and periodic performance reports.<\/li>\n
Achieve assigned targets for revenue, customer acquisition, product conversion and collections.<\/li>\n
Maintain an accurate, current database of fleet operators and key contacts in the territory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Candidate Profile:<\/h3>\n
\n
MBA, graduate or equivalent professional qualification.<\/li>\n
Four to six years of relevant experience in fleet sales, institutional sales, commercial-vehicle products, automotive components, lubricants, tyres, batteries or a related business.<\/li>\n
Proven experience working with fleet owners, major transport companies, logistics operators, road-construction companies or infrastructure-development organisations.<\/li>\n
An established professional network with active contacts across at least 100 fleet owners\/operators in the relevant market.<\/li>\n
Strong relationships with major fleet customers and industry decision-makers in Gurugram\/NCR or Chennai\/South India.<\/li>\n
Sound understanding of commercial vehicles, fleet-maintenance requirements and automotive aftermarket products.<\/li>\n
Strong communication, relationship-management, negotiation and business-development skills.<\/li>\n
Target-oriented, self-driven and capable of independently developing a fleet customer base.<\/li>\n
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
