Job Summary:<\/h3>\n
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive (MRE) to support material planning, supplier coordination, and vendor development activities. The role focuses on ensuring timely material availability, following up with vendors, resolving quality-related issues, supporting supplier audits, and maintaining procurement documentation. The candidate will work closely with the Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n
Material Requirement Execution (MRE)<\/h5>\n
\n
Execute daily material follow-up with suppliers as per production schedules.<\/li>\n
Monitor material dispatches and deliveries to ensure timely availability.<\/li>\n
Coordinate with Stores, Production, and Planning teams to avoid material shortages.<\/li>\n
Track pending purchase orders and expedite critical supplies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Vendor Coordination & Development<\/h5>\n
\n
Act as the primary coordinator for assigned vendors.<\/li>\n
Follow up on open issues related to material supply, quality, and documentation.<\/li>\n
Support vendor onboarding, performance monitoring, and vendor development initiatives.<\/li>\n
Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Quality & CAPA Management<\/h5>\n
\n
Coordinate with suppliers for quality concerns and non-conforming materials.<\/li>\n
Follow up on Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports and ensure timely closure.<\/li>\n
Monitor implementation of supplier corrective actions and maintain related records.<\/li>\n
Coordinate with the Quality team for supplier quality improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
PPAP \/ PSW & Audit Support<\/h5>\n
\n
Follow up with suppliers for PPAP documentation, PSW submission, and related approvals.<\/li>\n
Coordinate supplier documentation required for new product development and engineering changes.<\/li>\n
Assist during supplier audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.<\/li>\n
Maintain updated supplier quality documentation and records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Documentation & SAP<\/h5>\n
\n
Create and maintain Purchase Orders and procurement records in SAP.<\/li>\n
Update supplier documentation, material status, and procurement records.<\/li>\n
Ensure accurate record keeping in line with company procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements:<\/h3>\n
\n
2\u20134 years of experience in Purchase, MRE, Supply Chain, or Vendor Development in the automotive or manufacturing industry.<\/li>\n
Working knowledge of SAP (Procurement\/MM Module).<\/li>\n
Understanding of PPAP, PSW, CAPA, supplier quality processes, and vendor audits.<\/li>\n
Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.<\/li>\n
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Preferred Skills:<\/h3>\n
\n
Experience in automotive manufacturing.<\/li>\n
Familiarity with APQP, supplier quality systems, and engineering change management.<\/li>\n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple supplier follow-ups simultaneously.<\/li>\n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
